David Beach of Whispering Woodworks built this faithful reproduction of a 1700’s Winchester (Virginia) high boy. His primary wood is black walnut with both maple and poplar secondary woods. The upper section alone weighs in at over 300 pounds. The piece is 8 feet tall, 45 inches wide, has 300 hand cut dovetails. David use our H-10 rosette pulls, H-39 keyhole escutcheons, and our LK-4 drawer locks. All the visible hardware is in our semi-bright brass finish.
